Quickly promoted to Project Manager II because of my excellent grasp of the job and customer service experiences. Continued to perform the same duties as a project manager with an increase in work load to the highest level of efficiency and organization. With the change in the organization, took on established and new projects from other laboratory locations remotely. Continued to work with customer service personnel to handle quotations, including creating quotations for existing clients.

Quickly promoted to Project Manager after three months of being an assistant because of my excellent grasp of the job and customer service experiences. I coordinate and manage customer projects through all phases of laboratory operations, ensuring fulfillment of TestAmerica’s commitments to client requirements, error-free work, and on-time delivery. I work closely with customer service personnel to handle quotations, pricing on existing clients, and change orders for existing work. I monitor compliance with industry regulations, contractual agreements, program management processes, and program specifications. I work with the accounting department to make sure clients pay on time by monitoring the accounts receivable payments. As well as process payments for those who are cash in advance clientele.

Aided the Project Management team and customers throughout all phases of client projects. I coordinated and monitored schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of analytic reports by assisting the Project Managers I was assigned too. I also assisted with invoicing, EDDs, and final report review. I was responsible for shipment of sampling kits to clients and review of log-in at the time of sample receipt. Also, with the assistance and guidance of the project management team, started to manage small projects throughout the process.

Performed multiple wet chemistry tests on water samples using tests including BOD, CBOD, acidity, hardness, chloride via manual titration, MBAS, fluoride via non-npdes method, low-level Astoria methods (such as total phosphorus, nitrate-nitrite, orthophosphorus, and ammonia). I also have experience with ion chromatography, COD, nitrite via cadmium reduction, coliform testing, solid analyses, and routine short hold analyses such as pH, color, and turbidity. Responsibilities also included maintaining the work area, incubator temperature checks, chemical inventory control, balance checks, and entering data.
