In my current role of Technical Specialist at Current Instrumentation & Automation Inc., I leverage my biochemical and biotechnological background to prepare all quotes, review engineering drawings, manage purchase orders, process invoices, configure complex industrial instrumentation, and coordinate incoming and outbound shipments. I provide clients with technical support, offering solutions in level, pressure, gas/flame detection & analysis, flow, and display and process meters.I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. I have a demonstrated history of using analytical techniques including UV-Vis spectrophotometric analysis, HPLC, SDS-PAGE, protein assays, qPCR, Western Blot, and Ni2+ IMAC. During my time at Laurier I also taught introductory physics which covered topics including calculus, 2D/circular/rotational motion, and linear collisions. Outside of my professional life I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, taking care of my ducks and chickens, as well as keeping up with research in pharmaceutical chemistry.
