Dan brings nearly twenty years of technology experience to his role at League, where he oversees product development, business performance and overall operations.Most recently, Dan was the Chief Technology Officer at Kobo where he disrupted the market with the world’s first eReader that was priced below $200, driving the company’s competitors to follow suit and make digital reading more accessible to consumers. In his four years at Kobo, Dan was responsible for the development of a broad eReading platform including a world class store, innovative features such as Reading Life, top rated mobile apps, and more than ten E Ink eReaders and Android tablets.Dan and League CEO Michael Serbinis first worked together when Dan joined DocSpace, an internet-based document platform, as the chief architect in 1997. There, Dan was responsible for the design of the company’s technology solutions. DocSpace sold to Critical Path in 2000 for $568M. At Critical Path, Dan became the Vice President of hosted solutions and led the technology team that developed a hosted messaging platform used by Telco’s and enterprises worldwide.Dan holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science, from Concordia University.
