The Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is a network of city-based Hubs composed of dynamic leaders under 30 years old who seek to develop their leadership potential towards serving society. With more than 3,500 Shapers in over 400 Hubs worldwide, the community unites an unprecedented array of young change-makers in effecting positive local and global change. Minneapolis Hub was founded in 2012 and is a leader among Hubs worldwide. Minneapolis Global Shapers aim to serve as a bridge connecting people and disruptive, systems-changing projects that address root causes of the social, ecological and economic issues of our city and our world.My Role: Engage and co-lead a diverse cohort of 25 emerging leaders on a collective mission to make a positive impact in their community. - Committee lead of the Donor Advised Fund of the Minneapolis Global Shapers - Finance Committee Chair - Manage internal communications and processes including accountability of individuals and committees to make impact. - Co-organizer of the Women Lead MSP, an event series dedicated to cultivating a thriving and supportive ecosystem for women.

Connect, inspire, and support a diverse audience of purpose driven professionals and entrepreneurs. - Developed and implemented the major fundamental processes to operationalize the business as Impact Hub MSP first launched. - Executed the rebrand of MN Social Impact Center to Impact Hub MSP. - Developed and oversaw all programming, trained volunteers to host the space, and managed relationships with all members through the entire sales pipeline - Managed the coworking and event facility to meet the needs of members including an expansion that doubled the size of the space in June, 2016, welcoming more than 6,000 people through its doors. - Managed the development and evolution of human resources, membership experience, and IT including two FTE, eleven volunteers, and 121 members. - Launched, facilitated, oversaw groups of entrepreneurs in the creation of thematic, peer-to-peer learning networks called Communities of Practice including Impact Investing, Impact Reporting, Consultant’s Lunch, and Community Accelerator. - Partnered with local ecosystem builders to provide workshops and training (58 as of Dec 2016) dedicated to filling knowledge gaps, connecting members to resources, and increasing member visibility. - Managed and oversaw marketing and communications strategy and implementation resulting in (as of Dec 2016) 1,224 Facebook “Likes,” 2,315 Twitter followers, and 38,662 inbound clicks to the website from social media. - Developed leadership action plans with staff including KPIs and career development goals. - Manageed financial operations while balancing new and existing revenue streams. - Designed communications and digital media content including annual impact report. - Connected local operations to the national and global network by collaborating on events, leading peer to peer facilitations, and engaging CEOs in knowledge sharing activities.

Recruiting and Enrollment for the Monterey Institute of International Studies. A strategic partner to three Master's degree programs assisting in the facilitation of program offerings, curriculum development, and marketing management. Key Responsibilities:-Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic recruiting plans for the GSIPM programs.-Coordinate, plan, and execute recruitment efforts including identifying appropriate events and populations, travel logistics, event planning and follow-up. -Plan, host, and coordinate staff and faculty involvement in off/on-campus recruiting events.-Identify opportunities and assist with implementing follow-up activities in marketing and partnership development. -Collaborate on print and electronic advertising including concept development, copy writing, and editing. -Collaborate with deans, program chairs, and faculty to develop new programs/make program changes, coordinate new program launches, and update admissions requirements and strategies.-Iterate and innovate the prospective student experience using human centered design.

Paid graduate consultant recruited by United Way Monterey County and the City of Monterey to execute an AmeriCorps planning grant to build volunteerism throughout Monterey County.-Developed and carried out technology evaluation framework, matching specific client needs to best available solutions through extensive product research and user experience design analysis. -Facilitated client and MPACT meetings in addition to program development between the City of Monterey and United Way Monterey County. -Executed an organizational capacity assessment of 54 organizations, and a social network analysis of Historic Monterey

Assisted in the oiled wildlife cleanup and rehabilitation during the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill Emergency. -Gained valuable experience in emergency relief program management and development including strategic partnership analysis, group collaboration, teamwork, and resource management.-Learned oil spill response skills and protocol including intake evaluation, washing, rehabilitation, and release criteria.

Acted as a role model and mentor to positively influence and motivate women to enhance their work ethic and encourage personal growth.Set and achieved all team goals for the first time by building a strong sense of community and contributing to the ethos of the program. Conducted extensive communication and outreach campaigns to recruit the strongest players contributing to an increase from last place in the conference to third place.

Influenced school administration to re-instate a cancelled event by setting a precedent for increased student responsibility and accountability.Coordinated all logistical details and liaised with multiple stakeholders to efficiently deliver a successful event with zero student incidents and recognition by the venue and administrators for maintaining high standards of excellence.Recruited, coordinated and managed faculty and student volunteers resulting in full participation by faculty for the first time.
