Research Associate
CurrentManages and oversees large-scale curricular efficacy studies as well as evaluations for state education-based federal grants (including multiple state 21st Century Learning Community Grants). Uses data visualization techniques to produce high level grantee and stakeholder reports. Works with principal evaluator to analyze state assessment data for multiple schools and districts and is responsible for producing required reports at the state, district, and school level. Facilitates all aspects of research and evaluation projects including recruitment, on-site and remote training, instrument development, data collection (oral, digital and paper/pencil), program licensing, testing, data analysis, and report production. Conducts site visits, interviews, and educational program evaluations. Develops and nurtures relationships with grantees, school administrators and staff to ensure positive experience for schools participating in research projects or grant evaluations. Maintains and establishes clear and concise communication with clients, key stakeholders, trainers, and IT support personnel. Oversees research assistants and provides training, instructions and feedback to cultivate a positive working environment and set up employees for success.
