About Danielle Kingsbury

I'm a daughter of two felons and first-generation college student that made it out of the trailer park. I'm committed to helping students in low-income areas achieve their dreams of becoming first-gen students, too. I view education as an essential justice issue.Currently, I am an English teacher, testing coordinator, and 9th grade team leader. These roles allow me to reach multiple systems within the school to enact positive change. I'm a huge nerd that loves to crunch numbers and data to inform student-centered decisions. I'm enthusiastic about mentoring teachers and providing practical, timely and actionable feedback to improve teaching practices.
