Before entering the real estate industry, I worked in hospitality for over 15 years. My experience took me from an entry level guest service agent at the front desk to a Director of Sales with several revenue management positions in between. I worked with numerous sales and operation teams, but it was always the interaction with my customers that put a smile on my face everyday!The skills I learned in sales and revenue management have translated rather well into my real estate work. At a certain point I managed over 700 hotel rooms across three states. The attention to detail, time management, budgeting and accounting have been very similar to property management. As with homes sales, hotel sales depended on the development of enhanced knowledge and benefits of my product, while I maintained a thorough understanding of my competitor’s strengths, weaknesses and target demographics. Also, the processes, staying organized and maintaining numerous relationships with my sales teams across multiple markets has really laid a solid foundation for managing the home sales process for my clients.I am always on a path to expand my knowledge and I love to share what I learn with others.
