I am responsible for the development, integration and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the Foundation and its leadership. This includes the stewarding of relationships with key stakeholder donor groups: major and leading corporations, key organizations, prospect companies and patron individual donors, friends and supporters of the Health Care Foundation.Daily activities involve communications planning, social media management, media relations, web development, and some event planning.

I was responsible for industry relevant research in communication trends and consulting on the facilitation of talks between local First Nations communities and large oil and gas companies. Primary duties included research and media monitoring and reporting. Also gained experience in community engagement planning and stakeholder analysis.

Using SWOT analysis was able to outline objectives, key messages, communication strategies, timeline, and develop promotional materials to make successful the DataBC website as requested by the provincial government.

I was responsible for identifying and remedying behavioural problems of pre-school aged autistic children through the use of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA). The children participated in Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI) for long term success.

Responsible for organizing a major event to raise funds for the Terry Fox Organization. Having previously been met with difficulty maintaining participation of volunteers had to develop a plan to revamp the fundraiser to attract both volunteers and donors. The planning stage occurred over a 3 month period and the event was successfully executed with the help of 20 volunteers and hundred of donors.
