Everyone has a story that deserves to be heard - and a story told well can change the world.That's the mentality that informs my work as both a journalist and a communications professional.I am a punchy, energetic and thorough newshound. My areas of specialisation include disabilities, multiculturalism, social affairs, education and media. I'm adept at seeking out the 'invisible' issues, and make it my mission to shine a light on them.I bring those same skills to my work in marketing/communications. I'm a creative wordsmith, using my talents to further brand awareness and meet business goals. I have experience across the full suite of marketing activities and am skilled in all forms of content, including print, digital, video and audio. I'm eager to spread the word (written or otherwise!) about brands, projects, programs and people.As someone with lived experience of disability, I am exceptionally aware of the barriers this world throws in front of people with disabilities, and keen to do my part, through my work, to remove these barriers.I'm also an experienced public speaker and have presented at schools and to community groups on topics like the future of journalism, how journalists work in the modern world and autism/disability.
