My PhD thesis focuses on inventive productivity in research-intense organisations. In particular, I look at how patent data can be used to build performance indicators useful in innovation management. The results from my thesis are useful for managers that wish to improve their ideation and innovation processes.Main responsibilities:1) Research- Establishment of a unique research infrastructure of the patenting and spin-off activity of one of Europe's largest medical research institutions: the Karolinska Institutet Intellectual Property (KIIP) database- Collection and analysis of Big Data-Communication of research results in various international and national settings both academic and non-academic - Writing and defense of PhD thesis including peer-reviewed articles.2) FundingContinuous work with funding applications to both national and international funding agencies. The topics range between the basics of intellectual property management such as understanding the patent process and the global patent system to more advanced courses on new models for IAM (Intellectual Asset Management) and IP monetization.

Responsible for assessing work-flow bottlenecks and providing process improvement solutions at corporations and law firms. Key achievements: • Outsourcing overburdened IP admin function at telecom giant – (total deal value of £200,000)• Identification of Scandinavian client leads (5-10 monthly)• Delivered workshops to develop sales teams’ IP skills

Main responsibility was to creating business analyses including financial planning for corporate management strategy meetings (e.g. decisions on continuation or discontinuation of projects).

Responsible for supporting the global director of IP in optimizing the IP work throughout the Bavarian Nordic Group. I functioned as a liaison between the R&D center in Germany and the headquarters in Denmark.
