I have worked in laboratory settings since graduation with a BS in Biology in 2007. My focus has been on molecular work, specializing in Molecular Genetics in clinical, R&D, crop science, and academic fields.I have experience in DNA and protein extraction, and sample analysis using gel electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing, Luminex multiplex PCR, and ELISA, to name a few.I have been both Quality Assurance and Safety Representatives for departments I've worked in, managed Quality Control for a department outputting upwards of 100,000 units of data a month, and been a go-to person with regard to problem solving.I am hard working, prefer a mix of independent and team work, take initiative, have phenomenal attention to detail, have good interpersonal skills, and am a very quick learner, frequently picking up new tasks after seeing them once or simply reading the SOP without any hands on training.I have worked under CLIA, CAP, NY State, GLP, OECD, FIFRA, EPA, FDA, and EFSA regulations or guidelines.
