Senior Hr Coordinator
• Provide feedback, guidance, and support on employment legislation, common practices, and Company policies to all levels of employees.• Responsible for the performance and daily activity of the Human Resources Clerk.• Participate in the monthly Operations Meetings with Senior Management.• Assist with managing ongoing employee relations ensuring compliance with company policies and provincial legislation. • Answer routine benefit questions for employees, as well as provide assistance with problem solving. Act as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers to resolve problems and clarify benefits. • Responsible for spearheading the Joint Health & Safety Committee.• Assist Directors and Managers with coordination and tracking of project reports• Provide Managers, Directors, and Sr. Management with support on employee relations, performance management, benefits, recognition, training and recruitment.• Create ad hoc reports as required (turnover, recruitment costs, headcount, organizational chart, vacations).• Track absenteeism and analyze trends to report to managers. Assist in development of corrective action plans when necessary.• Work with management to assist with the planning, communicating, and tracking of company-wide initiatives. • Conduct first round interviews at all levels. Coordinate 2nd and 3rd round interviews with management.• Ensure accuracy of the invoices from HR service providers (Ex: the monthly benefit invoice).• Assist the marketing team with the production of the quarterly Company newsletter.• Oversee the set up of all necessary Employee files and maintain related records.• Research HR best practices and make recommendations where appropriate regarding: performance management, employee relations issues, employment requisitions etc. • Create and coordinate employee events.• Assist in developing and maintaining the department budget
