I hold a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations Degree, as well as a Bachelor of Education Degree. As both an educator and former human resource advisor, I am a collaborative team member who understands the importance of professionalism, confidentiality, and clear communication to support both organizational and individual employee needs. While working as a Human Resource Advisor and Consultant, I have experience managing all onboarding responsibilities, including recruitment and selection, developing and facilitating company new-hire orientations, and creating employment contracts. I am knowledgeable in employment labour standards and maintained compliance with provincial legislation and employment law when developing company policies and procedures. I am experienced with providing human resource generalist support including handling employee queries related to policies, procedures, and benefits, completing administrative tasks related to personnel documentation, and supporting performance reviews and talent management regarding both recognition and disciplinary meetings and investigations.As an Educator, I have been responsible for the development and delivery of various learning programs to meet the needs of diverse student populations. I am well-versed in developing both in-person and virtual course material. I have virtually instructed course content, and held both private and group information sessions, as needed. I am experienced with utilizing relevant learner data to guide instructional decisions and to ensure learner specific outcomes are achieved. I have worked collaboratively with other learning team members and specialists in order to identify special learner needs, conduct relevant assessments, and modify objectives to improve learner-specific outcomes.
