I received training at a bustling walk-in center of a not-for-profit community counseling agency in Bradenton, Florida, where I provided crisis counseling, intake, case management, and individual therapy under supervision. I had the honor of coming alongside a wide variety of inspiring individuals to help them reach their short- and long-term goals. I have worked with clients from elementary age to over 60 years old. My start in providing therapy to clients came when the COVID pandemic was just emerging. Navigating telehealth and in person sessions during a worldwide collective trauma? That's my norm and all I've ever known as a clinician. At Fleurish Psychotherapy, I worked in person and virtually with adults of all gender identities, sexual identities, and cultural identities who are 18 years old and older. Now, I’m a solo practitioner in my own virtual private therapy practice helping adults 18 and up dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, religious deconstruction/questioning, stress management and burnout. My approach to therapy is integrative in nature – pulling from multiple therapeutic techniques to consider the entire client, not just their symptoms, including trauma-informed DBT, CBT, ACT, IFS and Mindfulness-based Self Compassion.
