Through her unique blend of skills, expertise and personal attributes she has successfully delivered some of NI's leading sustainability and behavioural change campaigns including Love Food Hate Waste, European Week for Waste Reduction, Recycle Now, Fairtrade Borough and Recycle Week.With a solid background in the industry, Danielle holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science, a CIM level 4 certificate in Integrated Communications; CIM training in behavioural change; a PgCert in International Business from the University of Ulster and is currently undertaking a PgCert in Renewable Energy & Energy Management. Danielle has had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of organisations including:• The NI Assembly• The Department of the Economy NI• The Department of Environment, Agriculture & Rural Affairs (DAERA)• The Waste & Resource Action Programme (WRAP)• The National Trust• Fareshare NI • All eleven Council areas across Northern IrelandShe is also a dedicated and skilled business mentor, having worked across 7 local business support programmes and provided support to over 135 local start-ups and SME’s.Danielle is media trained with experience in event organisation and management, ranging from a NI Assembly launch, media breakfasts, radio roadshows and award ceremonies, right through to delivering conferences, workshops and train the trainer sessions.Finally, Danielle is an enthusiastic volunteer and has previously supported the Ulster Wildlife Trust, the National Trust and Lean In Causeway Coast. Presently, Danielle manages and Chairs the All-Ireland Sustainability Professionals Network, which she established in 2020; she sits on the RSPB NI Committee and the Fareshare NI Steering Group. The Love Food Hate Waste campaign saw an increase in web traffic from NI by an average of 800% and recruitment of over 80 strategic partners in under 2 years, whilst the Recycle Now campaign saw two Northern Ireland wide initiatives delivered in under one year, including a full radio and press campaign for Recycle Week in 2016 and the coordination of events in coordination with the Northern Ireland Science Festival. Development of a new, bespoke behaviour change campaign which is currently being run in Lurgan, the Causeway Coast & Glens Borough and Mid and East Ulster Council. The communications based campaign aims to encourage a reduction in waste arisings and increased stakeholder engagement in waste reduction & recycling activity. Development of successful communications strategies spanning across the whole of Northern Ireland, leading to increased brand recognition, business development, stakeholder engagement & increased partnership across both the public and private sector. These strategies have targeted and worked closely with local businesses, educational establishments, local authorities, retail, media and charity organisations and has included engagement of MLA’s and the Northern Ireland Assembly who hosted a launch event for the campaign. -
