Driven and personable individual who is a SHRM (Society of HR Management) certified HR professional with a combined education & professional experience of 5 years.Strong professional background with a combination of focus in areas of Human Resources and Finance. Prior to obtaining my B.S in HR Management and SHRM certification, I worked in the finance industry for 5+ years, in which I gained skills in providing excellent customer service, finding and presenting financial solutions to customers to suit their needs, and handling an extensive amount of confidential information. I worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at a large non-profit organization (800+ employees) for two and a half years- my role focused on employee compliance with state and company requirements, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and facilitating trainings to groups of 12-20 individuals. I have since become a Human Resources Generalist at Compass Construction since July 2021- in which I work directly with the HR Director and company executives closely, My current role consists of hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, workers compensation management, safety compliance, recruiting, performance management, assisting with state/federal paid leaves, and monthly billing audits. I truly believe HR is the heart of the company.
