My closet is full of hats. And I love it. Some days you can catch me wearing my grant reporting hat. Other days, I'll be wearing my event planning hat. Every day I'm wearing my manager hat. Some hats I haven't worn in a few months, but they're still there when I need them. I'm always looking for new hats to wear.My time at Hillel has allowed me the opportunity to grow into the individual and professional I am today, with a lot of hats. I started out as an entry-level employee and have paved my way to becoming the Assistant Director to an ever-growing organization at the largest University in the United States. Here, I have been able to obtain many skills that I know I will take with me throughout my life. To name a few, I have developed my communication skills far beyond what I had imagined when I first started my career. Through thousands of student meetings, presentations, staff meetings, phone & video calls, on-the-road meetings, and University meetings, I have met with a multitude of individuals. I have learned how to hire and develop professionals, as I have now hired over half of our current staff, on-boarded, and created development projections with each employee. I've created and managed a budget of over a quarter of a million dollars while getting updates on QuickBooks. This is just the beginning. I am currently a student at Suffolk University, studying for a Master's in Healthcare Administration. I am also working part time at Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Unit Coordinator at the MICU. I love working with people and helping them. This is the hat I am always wearing. Whether it is my staff, colleagues, or students, I always have them at the forefront of my mind. This is my why, and this is what I look forward to doing for the rest of my career.
