As a member of this small independent design team I assume many roles in the development of original games. With a background in screen writing and fine arts I enjoy and excel at writing and character design the most. My duties include but are not limited to:▪ Managing our Steam page, updating the company website & promoting our brand. ▪ Writing and Level Design.▪ Designing characters including concept art, AI flow charts and conversation trees▪ Quality Assurance, Alpha & Beta Testing, bug tracking and fielding/providing feedback for build updates

As an in-house videographer for Simpson Lumber I was responsible for all aspects in the production of training and safety videos for the Shelton mill. As a single person production team I worked in a quick, independent and efficient manner. Filming videos in a lumber mill provides a unique work environment; that is hazardous, noisy and many times vibrating. The environment and capturing the interconnected complicated machine system proved both challenging and engrossing. My duties included but were not limited to: ▪ Technical script writing for safety and training videos according to company policy and OSHA standards. ▪ Editing footage, animating and designing graphics and titles. ▪ Cinematography often in difficult and hazardous environments. ▪ Annotating and Updating Job Safety Analysis procedures and machine operations according to current practices and system changes.

I co-founded Run and Gun Pictures, a small independent production company to produce narrative films, commercials and event filming. Because it was a small company I held many roles during production. This transitioned my college education experience into practical work experience in a variety of video production fields.▪ Writing, producing and directing low budget shoots for narrative films, commercials, web content and events▪ Developing and following schedules and budgets for preproduction, filming and postproduction▪ Functioning as a cinematographer and Director of Photography▪ Creating props, special/ practical effects, character/ prosthetic makeup and costuming

The Dead Gentlemen writing pool provided me with the unique experience of working on a large writing team, creating original content. I produced scripts both as an individual, with a partner and on a team of eight other writers. The focus was on short films and episodic serial format content, developed primarily for the web. ▪ Creating unique content to build an internet showcase of original web series ▪ Producing completed original scripts to air online▪ Rewriting and editing scripts from other writers to fit company needs

As an AmeriCorps member I did my year of service primarily at Center For Career Alternatives. Center for Career Alternatives was a nonprofit organization that helped at risk youths to develop marketable skills, access government support, provided guidance for employment, while also supporting them with GED prep and testing. I also worked at the Everett Housing Authority Community Center and provided support during community events. A second aspect to my year of service was community volunteering and civic engagement. Volunteering projects included: multiple food drives, providing free maintenance for an animal sanctuary, planting trees for the city of Mount Lake Terrace. My main duties at Center for Career Alternatives included but were not limited to: ▪ Developing and running an at risk youth program including mentor-ships, vocational training, community events ▪ Planning and facilitating community events, youth enrichment activities both on site and off site ▪ Light office work, creating flyers, spreadsheets, creating lesson plans, documenting services and maintaining client records
