Interning within the Embroidery Department, actively submerged me into the exciting and intense environment of designing within a prestige couture house. The timing of my internship allowedme to be involved from the preliminary stages through to completion, of what would be McQueen’s last collection. I gained an invaluable insight into the entire process and on a personal note,learnt to work well under high pressure and be more resilient.• Extensively researched and created concept boards to inspire Resort and Main Collection themes, colours, print and embroidery design; which were presented directly to Department Heads andMcQueen himself.• Designed Embroideries for Garments and Accessories, which ranged from Illustrated bouillon designs to embellished pattern designs using Swarovski crystals, drawn to scale. Sampled embroidery and embellishment designs and created technical specifications to send to the factories.• Illustrated placement prints for accessories and repeat prints that were translated into laces and fabrics.• Designed a range of exuberant Jewelry to compliment the main collection, which included 3D moulded gold skulls, juxtaposed with intricate, symmetrical patterns of Swarovski crystals.

Interning alongside premium Womenswear designer Roswald, who was renowned for her bold prints mixed with traditional textiles, I was submerged into all areas of design, production and marketing.• Designed prints and embroideries for Fashion, Accessories and Homeware, that were included in the collections. Developed garment patterns and assisted in fit meetings to actively improvegarment fits and designs.• Independently held buying meetings with stockists across London and at London Fashion Week where I expanded their client base and increased sales.• Liaised with stylists and publishers to ensure the collections gained maximum coverage within fashion publications. Assisted in design consultations with celebrity clients for bespoke designs.• Styled and executed photo shoots for marketing and organised sample sales and special events.
