Responsible for, but not limited to:- Identify discrepancies between mortgage/transfer documents and the in-house mortgage servicing system- Review documents for new and refinanced loans to ensure title documentation is accurate, and liaise with lawyers to rectify as required - Liaise with departments internally to get title issues rectified- Reconciliation of invoices and fees related to pooling loans- Order title insurance from 3rd party provider for any MBS pools- Co-ordinate with lawyers and 3rd party companies to ensure loans are ready to be pooled for external investors- Identify loans that have title issues or loans that can never be pooled Particularly proud of:- During downtime, drafted all department training documentation for the role, and how to review if a document is registered correctly on title across all provinces and territories.
