Senior Specialist with over 15 years of experience in agriculture extension, socioeconomic research, community-based seed system development, Value chain development, agribusiness, innovation and market linkage. Currently, I serve as a Senior Technical Expert at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute. I hold two Master's degrees: an MA in Regional and Local Development Studies from Addis Ababa University (2011) and an MA in Applied Community Development from Future Generations University. My B.Sc. in Agricultural Extension is from Alemaya University (2005).I am results-driven, with expertise in public-private partnerships, multi-stakeholder coordination, disaster management, and food security advocacy. I’ve collaborated with various humanitarian and development agencies, co-chairing the Regional DRM-ATF with FAO and facilitating agricultural learning forums. My work emphasizes inclusive development initiatives that prioritize gender parity and climate-resilient agriculture, helping agribusinesses and smallholder farmers achieve sustainable growth while navigating complex regulatory environments.
