In 2007 Siemens joined Nokia in a joint venture. My department was responsible to coordinate with the new colleagues the Radio interface research group of current and developing mobile technologies. I was responsible for: - GSM/WCDMA/HSPA coexistence and interworking with LTE.- Monitor of mobile technology development contributing to Intellectual property, internal and scientific papers.- Simulation and statistical analysis of new down- and uplink features including presentation and elaboration of workshops for world class clients, such as T-mobile. - Design of real time simulation tools for radio interface demonstrations and improvements.

Dissertation: Investigation and prototyping of the GSM on Board aircrafts System (GSMOBA). Reliability and Performance testing of the system transmission link with a real Satellite interface link in partnership with the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
