As a seasoned science educator with over 8 years of experience in formal education (middle school) and informal education (zoo and aquariums), I am trilled to connect with other science educators, curriculum writers, and ed tech enthusiasts. My unique experience gives me a unique perspective in designing curriculum for all ages. I enjoy using education technology (#edtech) to bring student-centered instruction to all. I am deeply driving by the belief that every student can learn if given the right opportunity and wish to foster a life-long love of science using hands-on instruction.My experience includes NGSS, TN State Standards, and conservation education. I have helped with summer camp (ages 5-17), taught conservation education programs to adults, and assisted others in working with various education technology including Kiddom, Schoology, Edlio, Edulastic, MasteryConnect, Clever, Nearpod, PlayPosit, and Padlet. Employers have told me I am dependable, flexible, coachable, and positive!
