Co-Founder And Creative Producer
Co-Founder & Creative Producer
Delivering astonishing private / public art and culture-led events in the UK, Europe and beyond, producing / programming shows, developing artist talent and unique IP. I lead on business development and client liaison within the business as well as creative and comms strategy. Recent highlights include the ideation and delivery of House of Oz (Winner, Best Edinburgh Fringe Venue 2022, in Year 1); an immersive “Neon Safari”, an epic 4-day wedding and cultural immersion in Venice for 200 guests; a theatrical spectacular at Alexandra Palace Theatre, starring Robbie Williams and Michael McIntyre and a baseline of high-end, design-led private and discrete charity events. 2021 saw the delivery of multiple events and imaginative activations via Taylor Herring, primarily for Disney properties (e.g. Frozen, The King’s Man, The Walking Dead).
Creative Producer
Live communications specialist, supporting world class event and top tier design agencies with projects in the media & arts, luxury, tourism sectors and with business acquisition. My scope in a tender scenario includes devising and articulating a strategic framework, as well as the ideation or creative route, either for the entire tender or specialist areas (e.g. entertainment, theatre, activation, gastronomy). I'm highly networked, adding value by introducing relevant specialist vendors and partners. Creative communications work takes me all over the world, from a base in the UAE.
Executive Producer
Winner: Best Venue 2022 (Entertainment Now)House of Oz at King’s Hall, returning to Edinburgh Fringe 4-27 Aug 2023. Originally pitched as a one-off, all-Australian creative showcase, as part of the UK / Australia Season 2022… and now the cornerstone of an exciting new philanthropic platform for Australian talent. Our talented team transforms a church into a glamorous theatre, created a garden kitchen and bars to showcase vibrant Aussie performances, art and culture. Featuring gourmet cafe food and, in 2022, our upscale “Taste Australia” storytelling feasts, hosted by talent including the inimitable Reuben Kaye.
Creative Producer/Project Director
Multiple events delivered for Quintessentially, including a luxury destination wedding at Madinat Jumeirah and a 3-day immersive art exhibition experience. This latter introduced a VVIP Emirati artist to an audience of media, collectors, influencers and political leaders. The event was staged in an entirely unexpected environment and included a public access day. As the Producer, working closely with the artist to bring a crystal clear vision to life, I managed all creative and technical content development and delivery - including set design/construction, production of original film assets, music sourcing/licensing, LX/AV, gifts, invitations, brand guidelines, print collateral, F&B, staffing, hostess costume - as well as running the P&L.

Inaugurated in 2007, The Big Ball is a charity for the creative industries in Dubai. Founded by Barry Kirsch of BKP Music, it fundraises for children's education projects with an emphasis on creativity. Its mission is to "save the imagination". As the event's Executive Producer, I led a team of zealous committee members, pro bono partners and third party suppliers to deliver a major gala event on a challenged budget and oversaw the advertising and PR campaign, auction and supporting print and online content/collateral. Success depended on quick and imaginative thinking, the creation of efficient and user-friendly systems and processes, great copywriting, high level diplomacy, relationship management, resourcefulness and leveraging local and international contacts.
Director
Established Brand Angel as a consultancy through which to channel communications, events and experiential work for brands, media owners and agencies, including Rocco Forte Hotels via Beattie McGuinness Bungay and notably Taylor Herring PR, via whom I produced multiple events for Discovery Networks Europe, Disney, Living, Virgin 1 and 19 Management. Established an innovative boutique events & experiential agency - dubbed "the media's party organiser of choice" by the Financial Times - after leaving Channel 5. Grew sales to GBP 1m sales in 2 years (and permanent team from 1 to 4). Clients included broadcasters (BBC, Channel 4, five, MTV), banks (UBS, JP Morgan), tech & mobile giants (Microsoft, msn, Sony PlayStation, O2), luxury brands (Ralph Lauren, Cacharel, Courvoisier), film distributors (Twentieth Century Fox, Disney) and publishing houses (Metro, FHM, Vogue). In 2001 Bob Geldof’s media group Ten Alps Communications Plc acquired Dr Party; it became the boutique subsidiary of a new division, Ten Alps Events, of which I was a director. Ten Alps Events devised and delivered the pioneering “Lighting Up London” video mapping campaign for Orange (France Telecom), in which images of a snowy Union Jack, projected onto Buckingham Palace, made the front pages, globally. We led the consortium that won the Foreign Office contract to deliver the UK Pavilion at the World Expo 2005 in Aichi, Japan featuring several Brit Artists. Dr Party continued producing corporate events and private parties eg. Geldof’s spectacular 50th, Karen Millen’s 40th birthday party in Kent and Viscount Weymouth’s 30th birthday extravaganza, entitled "Burleski", at Longleat House (filled 7 pages in UK Harper’s Bazaar, which launched Dita von Teese in the UK).
Press & Pr, Promotions & Events Manager
Joined channel 9 months prior to launch with a brief to hire a team of publicists and reinvent TV network comms methodology, working alongside a "virtual team" of strategic talent. With no original programming to showcase, no high profile on-screen talent and a modest budget, we deployed fresh styles of photography, experiential campaigns, events and "media firsts"to position the channel in keeping with Wolff Olins' acclaimed brand identity. Devised campaigns to put now-famous talent on the showbiz map; established a promotions and events division.
Pr Manager
Responsible for all corporate PR and also PR campaigns for several TV and radio productions for the company owned by Bob Geldof, Waheed Alli and Charlie Parsons. Also produced all company events and press launches, including a Christmas party featured in British Vogue.
Account Director

Co-created event partnerships and properties with broadcasters (eg. Bravo TV) and celebrities (eg. Boy George). Also ran freelance media campaigns for Planet 24 Productions, my subsequent employer.
Content & Communications Manager
Worked alongside Roy Ackerman OBE, ghostwriting The Ackerman Restaurant Guide (London section), assisting with Egon Ronay Guides, supporting Mr. Ackerman with his PR efforts and producing all launch events and roadshows for the company.
Account Director
Groundbreaking consumer and B2B communications/PR agency for the gastronomy sector. Using an armoury of creative and strategic techniques (eg. events, stunts, ghostwriting, lobbying and consultancy) alongside pure media relations, ACBA was instrumental in positioning chefs as the new rock & roll stars - transforming Marco Pierre White, Pierre Koffman et al into household names. We devised destination restaurants from scratch, mentoring creative development from concept to menus, uniforms to staff manual. I also originated and authored a talked-about newsletter, which eventually developed into a back page column in Taste magazine.
