About Danielle Pascoli

I am driven by a passion for innovation and sustainability. That is why I transformed my PhD research into VERDE Nanomaterials, a company revolutionizing material development with advanced cellulose nanofibers. Here, we are focused on building a future where plant waste resources become high-performance, eco-friendly solutions for everyday products. My journey began in Brazil, where I got my BS in Biochemical Engineering. Years of research at the University of Washington, culminating in an MS and a PhD in Bioresource Science and Engineering sharpened my expertise in converting waste into valuable biomaterials. VERDE’s foundations came from unlocking the potential of cellulose nanofibers – a versatile, ultra-strong, and renewable biomaterial waiting to be unleashed into the market.More than just good science, it's about impact. I'm driven by the potential of VERDE to tackle climate challenges, unlock one-of-a-kind materials, and create a truly circular economy. If you share that same vision, I would love to connect!
