Collectively, I have spent the past nearly 2 decades in the Career Services industry. I started my career in Human Resources, Recruitment, & Payroll, working for small, medium, and large businesses. Previously, I served as the Director of HR & Recruitment for a large University and Mortgage Servicer. In 2007, I started my first company – DTS Academy, a Homeschool Academy & Charter School for low-income families. While building that company, I realized that not only did I enjoy spending time with the children that attended my Academy, but I also thoroughly enjoyed helping their parents and visitors. Since I am highly business-savvy and technically-inclined, I would have parents, visitors, and clients who came to me for Grant Writing, RFPs/RFQs, and Proposals, as well as Resumes, Thank You/Follow-Up Letters, & Cover Letters.After working as a Freelancer/Contractor for the leading Resume Writing companies, I realized that my knack for writing went beyond crafting quality documents. It was then that I decided to found a company based on servicing professionals needing resumes and career documents, as well as companies that needed top-notch/quality team members and candidates for their open roles.A few years ago, we decided to divide our company into (3) service-driven organizations with a new focus. Now, Powelson Consulting is a multifaceted Staffing & Recruitment Agency that offers Outplacement and a well-established Job Board. Ally Elite Agency assists our Professional Clients, offering Resume Writing, Career Coaching, Job Placement, and other Career-related services. Additionally, Ally Elite Agency offers Social Media and Web Design packages. Lastly, as a long-standing Trucker & Oilfield Wife, I founded our PC Driver Recruiter Firm, which provides transportation and energy-based Recruitment & Staffing options.
