Dr. Danielle “Danny” Pulliam is a former Division I women’s basketball student-athlete, current college athletic administrator, and higher education practitioner. Passionate about sports, education, and the development of young people, Danielle has coupled her personal and professional experiences together in an effort to create sustainable change. Danielle has experience working in the front office of a professional sport team and providing support to collegiate athletic teams at public and private universities within the American Athletic Conference, BIG 10 Conference, Missouri Valley Conference, and Atlantic-10 Conference.As an inclusive leader, Danielle aims to make Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) part of everything she does. She has created and participated in DEI programming/initiatives along with developing and teaching curriculum for courses centered on Sport, Culture, and Society. In addition, her doctoral research – How Do Sport Organizations Ensure Inclusiveness During the Hiring Process – provided research-based strategies to identify and dismantle structural and unconscious bias during the hiring process.She enjoys listening to music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
