eCommLegal Pty Ltd, part of the Commonwealth Bank, was established to provide cost effective and professional estate planning to its customers. I was responsible for the NSW/ ACT division. Due to the Global Economic Crisis, eCommLegal was dismantled and all 45 employees nationally were made redundant.My focus was to rollout eCommLegal to the Bank in NSW, develop the business in NSW, advise customers and managing my team. Ultimately the core of my role and team was to legally advise customers regarding their Estate Planning arrangements.

My role was to legally protect the interests of Perpetual in its role of executor, attorney or trustee in estates and trusts to monitor compliance, minimise risk and ensure Perpetual always acted in the best interests of beneficaries & estates, remaining within the legislative bounds of the Trustee Act, Trustee Companies Act and Common Law.I supported the Private Client business unit by providing Estate Planning advice to Perpetual’s high net worth clients, referred to me by Senior Financial Planners and Client Relationship Managers. I provided Wills & Estates legal training to the business unit, sat on the Trust Establishment Review Committee & assisted in the implementation of the Anti Money Laundering legislation on the Private Client business.
