Bcad Liaison Officer - Emergency Response Team
CurrentServing as the primary contact for Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) during an EOC activation, as well as, the Airport Family Reception Center and Passenger Reunification Center; the Liaison Officer coordinates with external agencies responding to the incident. The Liaison Officer is the point of contact for representatives of other agencies to provide input on the agency's response plan, resource availability, and other incident-related matters.Maintaining and updating the following essential records during an emergency response.EOC status board.Maintaining Incident timeline (Scribe), inclusive of:Roster of Emergency Response Team (primary and secondary persons).List of responding and cooperating agencies and agency representatives, via the EOC In and Out white board.Participate in planning meetings, drills and table top exercises and provide and maintain sign-in sheet. Assist in establishing and coordinating agency contacts, may request a response from outside agencies.Monitor incident operations and identify any potential problems with responding internal and external agencies. Provide administrative support to Incident Commander and Section Chiefs.Provide current resource status during activation (i.e, limitations and capability of responding agency resources).Remaining in the EOC at all times until the incident is concluded and the EOC is no longer in activation mode.
