"Render, set the bar."This is something that I heard, constantly, from an English teacher as a sophomore in high school. I wasn't older than 16 then and wasn't exactly sure what bar he was telling me to set, but I believe when you hear something enough, it becomes engraved in your mind. Now, many years later, as a new professional, I can still hear that teacher saying, "Render, set the bar. You're not like your contemporaries." The statement didn't mean much then, and I also didn't quite understand it, but now it's something that I hold as a driving force and as motivation to achieve and succeed.Currently, I am a May 2017 graduate from Purdue University, having obtained a B.S. in Multidisciplinary Engineering with a concentration on Engineering Management and a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. I have explored construction management, the digital consulting industry, and have since decided to play in my own sandbox for a while at DVN. The experiences that you find on this profile have allowed me to continue to "set the bar." This is not for others - but for myself, never-ending continual growth on the path of being a growing professional, a leader, and beyond.
