At CFA, we build relationships with labor stakeholders and public officials state-by-state to develop policies that safeguard funds from climate risk and protect healthy retirements. With our expertise in finance, policy, and union organizing, we are committed to supporting public workers' voices in shaping the future of their pension investments.My role: - Design and implement effective organizing strategies to advance state climate goals by engaging with key stakeholders, such as public workers, trustees, and pension system staff and leaders.- Cultivate relationships and equip pension stakeholders with strong policy pathways through tailored trainings, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement advising.- Translate complex climate finance policies into clear, accessible communications efforts and educational materials.- Conduct policy analysis and advising to equip pension leaders with strong policy pathways. - Facilitate and foster inclusive, equitable spaces and ensure our work is grounded in a commitment to racial and economic justice.

- Conducted policy and legislative research- Advised Chairs and committee members on legislation, relevant policy matters, and political strategies, serving as a bridge between the House and the Senate chambers- Drafted legislation, established commissions, and coordinated policymaker communications that led to large-scale reforms in municipal healthcare and pension reform- Organized public hearings, testimony review, and legislative tracking for 560 bills- Served as a liaison on behalf of the committee in relationships with governmental bodies, public employee associations, political officials, and advocacy organizations

- Grew and managed an advocate network of over 70 chapters, 4,500 health profession students- Spearheaded various advocacy campaigns and national actions on a range of issues and formats, from synchronized local grassroots initiatives to events connecting more than 36 school campuses together for collective action- Developed an innovative education project aimed at incorporating human rights into health professional curricula- Was responsible for managing budgets, work plans, grant proposals, and monitoring and evaluation procedures- Led a range of community-building and training initiatives to grow the breadth and depth of the network, including four multi-day national conferences, two leadership institutes, nine regional advocacy summits, and numerous workshops.- Managed communications for the national network, including PHR’s Student Blog and website, a monthly e-newsletter, and social media campaigns
