Recognizing the breadth and importance of local governments early on, I have studied and practiced municipal governance and administration since 2004. First in focusing on municipal government during a Political Science undergraduate degree, and then carried out through planning, development, administrative and specifically municipal law in law school and in practicing law. A few years servicing municipalities and citizens with regards to municipal matters in the public sector at the Department of Municipal Affairs now adds to a well rounded and thorough background in this field. Municipal law in my practice has also stemmed into working in construction and procurement, development and planning, expropriation and land uses, and general administrative law matters. In addition, I practice in insurance law, labour and employment matters, statutory interpretation and regulatory law, and general civil litigation.
