About Danielle Tucker

Starting my own business at 27 and building it alongside a full time job in Trust was just the challenge I needed after surviving a global pandemic! My business; offering blog post writing services to individuals and small businesses, as well as doing creative work for charities, is a way of expressing myself and making money from my creative skills. I love being my own boss and working directly with the clients I choose to work with. I enjoy building valued relationships which are more than just about the money.I also enjoy routine and structure, financial stability and teamwork, which is why I thrive working in temporary roles in the finance industry as well as the government. Since childhood, I have been organised, good with numbers and happiest when checking off tasks.I am goal-oriented, a lover of lists, and enjoy being challenged. I consistently make an effort to resolve issues logically and whilst maintaining a positive mind-set, and enjoy learning new things. I thrive in a team and find satisfaction in working toward a common goal as part of a larger business. I am great at motivating others around me and delight in making work-based friendships. I believe I demonstrate integrity in my work and working relationships, I am not afraid to ask for help when I need it and am always willing to assist others where I can. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, yoga, hiking and socialising.

Danielle Tucker Work Experience Details
  • The Sovereign Group
    Senior Trust And Company Administrator
The Sovereign Group May 2024 - Present
    Guernsey
After almost five years gaining diverse experience in a variety of temporary and contract positions, I made the decision to return to permanent employment. While under probation at Sovereign, I was given limited responsibilities and primarily worked on projects to support the trust and company administration team. These projects included performing file reviews for all administered entities, which refined my analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as increasing my awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements in the Finance Industry. I also further developed my data management abilities, becoming proficient in handling and organising large amounts of information, both physical and digital, at the same time as learning to use a document management system I was previously unfamiliar with.Following probation, I became responsible for my own portfolio of clients, including offshore companies and trust structures for high-net-worth individuals. Already familiar with managing entities and nurturing client relationships, this element of my role allowed me to hone these abilities while navigating complex financial structures, and adapting to the unique needs of my international clientele.Alongside this, I took ownership of a project whereby I engaged with clients and intermediaries to gather essential information and documentation, ensuring our document management system was updated accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards. Through this, I further built on the skills detailed above, as well as refining my time management skills to juggle my responsibilities and effectively complete tasks on time.
  • Belvoir Media
    Owner
Belvoir Media Feb 2021 - Present
    Guernsey
Belvoir Media is a blog-based business generating an income from affiliate marketing, as well as offering services in blog post research and writing for third parties including small businesses and charities. When I started Belvoir Media in 2021 it was initially a virtual assistant business offering services in administration, design, writing and social media management for clients. I quickly learned that the services being offered were too broad and struggled in the first few months to settle on a business niche which inhibited growth of the business.During 2022 I re-evaluated the business model and established a core channel of marketing with blog posts and focusing on offering blogging services to clients.I have also retained the additional services of social media management and brand design for my existing clients which include some charities, and have a growing relationship with them where industry relevant blogging may become a part of their future.Starting my own business has taught me discipline and valuable communication skills amongst other things. I have strengthened my understanding of social media marketing, I am continually developing my website design and management abilities, and I am building upon the creative writing skills I first acquired in school and have been refining ever since.Being completely independent in managing my time and client relationships around other work and travel commitments has provided me with indispensable business management skills which have been useful both in my employed work and in my personal development. I've vastly grown in confidence throughout this adventure and am excited to see what the future holds for Belvoir Media.
