As the key contact for most clients, manages accounts by setting realistic expectations, maintaining positive working relationships, and acting as a bridge between design, leadership and client. Began tenure as a designer, but moved into account and project management as a way to develop skills and maximize impact on the company as a whole.

Using deep empathy and design thinking to craft solutions for value-driven brands, this fast-paced, female-led studio is focused on excellence in design. Extensive experience with InDesign and Illustrator with projects ranging from book design to packaging solutions, with additional work in brand frameworks and copywriting. Started as a regular contractor in Dec 2019 which later led to formal employment.

Through small batch production and long-lasting quality, Halsion creates a local buying option for people who value creativity and the local economy. We hand-make our products to embody functional minimalism, which informs the heart of our brand. As a key member of the brand and marketing team, worked on projects encompassing print, web, advertising, branding, campaigns, social planning, marketing automation, animation, photography, illustration and art direction. Assisted in the refresh of brand guidelines and worked closely with freelancers and contract workers to create content true to the Bench brand.

Collaborated with the creative team at the luxury tea company as a practicum student on a variety of projects encompassing packaging design, outreach, photography, social media planning and content creation. This relationship led to additional contract work upon graduation.

Managed a team of graphic designers and eighteen visual artists to compile a 100 page bi-annual literary magazine featuring student creatives. Published in November 2015 and in April 2016.

In a highly competitive and demanding environment, moved upwards from Server Assistant to Variable Manager and finally took responsibility for directing the hotel marketing program at the Richmond location.

Liaised with a downtown Eastside shelter and halfway house to understand where their resources fell short. Developed research-based informational pamphlets on mental illness for distribution at the centre to help their staff better serve the needs of their community. Presented the literature review and brochure at the 2011 Connecting Minds Psychology Conference at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Pro bono project.
