About Danielle Desa, Oct
A 2013 concurrent education graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and Nipissing University. I have teaching experience from Early Childcare to 8th grade. Please feel free to explore my e-portfolio: danielledesa.weebly.comMy educational philosophy reflects my 4H background, “learn to do by doing”. I want my students to be as excited about education as I am. I create learning centers that revolve around 21st century skills putting the students in charge of their learning experience. They can explore concepts, ask questions, and discover new ideas. I feel that a focus on creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration are essential to prepare students for the future. My classroom is built around positive encouragement and differentiation. I know from experience that this can only be achieved through careful planning and preparation of lessons, combined with widely varying the resources used in lesson delivery. Regardless of class size, I believe interactive lessons are the key to establishing effective growth among students both academically and socially.
Listed skills include Education, Communication, Tutoring, Educational Technology, and 12 others.
