Supports the career readiness programming components across Wyman’s Teen Leadership and inspireSTL programs. Actively provides career readiness coaching, individually and in groups, to Wyman teens and scholars to include resume preparation, interviewing workshops, career and work styles inventories, and general coaching and supportive contacts. Works collaboratively through both programs to coordinate all career readiness activities for teens and scholars, including the management of corporate partnerships, volunteers and community partners.

As a persistence coach, I provide ongoing support, financial coaching, maintain contact with partner universities, make campus visits, and connect students with campus resources. Another aspect of the persistence component is implementing a summer bride program for our students. The summer bridge program focuses on components that will support students transition to college. The summer bridge focuses on topics such as time management, study skills, networking, maintaining healthy relationships, financial literacy, self-advocacy, developing help-seeking behaviors, and much more. Our goal is not only to get students to college but through college!

Instructed over 70 high school juniors on the college admission process, financial aid, majors, and scholarship research through UMSL's Saturday Academy Program.
