From day one as an optometrist, I knew I had to shake up the optometry space.Then at the age of 25, I took a leap and became a proud owner of my very own practice. It wasn’t easy, but it felt like a real-world MBA on life lessons including governance and leadership. Since then, my brand OCULA has seen remarkable growth, from its humble beginnings to now spanning five locations across New Zealand, becoming a multi-million dollar business, and expanding our tight-knit team from just 3 to over 50 employees.My journey extends beyond eyecare; I'm passionate about using my platform to support women in business and contributing to causes that uplift underprivileged children. Because at the end of the day, success means nothing if you're not making a positive impact.I'm also determined to build a dynamic workplace that prioritises growth and well-being. As a dynamic team at the forefront of the optometry space, we move fast and stay up to date with the newest tech developments and ways of working. We also prioritise flexible working and giving back to society.
