Daniel was responsible for security development, execution and audit within various government agencies (local, state and federal) and law-enforcement bodies.During this period Daniel became one of the country's earliest auditors for AS7799 (the precursor to ISO27001 - Information Security Technology) and helped a number of sensitive organisations build, execute and ultimately be certified for their security programs years ahead of the mainstream. Clients included NSW Police, Corrective Services, Cabinet Office, Police Integrity Commission, Sydney Opera House, IP Australia, Country Energy, Macquarie Power Generation, local governments, government secure sites and more. Many security practices that Daniel designed and implemented remain in place and continue to provide benefit over a decade later.
