Working with Effect Partners was a part time position created for my group and I based on the work we completed for our 4th year capstone project. Our tasks included extensive research into 9 Live Nation venues located in the United States and current practices / resources available to make their venues more sustainable. A team member and I also attended a concert at one of the venues to perform an audit on their facility to be able to better make recommendations. As of June 14, 2016 I have accepted my Bachelor's of Environmental Studies (Honours) with 2 years Co-operative Education experience.The program Environment and Business offered at the University of Waterloo is a world renowned as it not only educates it's students on business courses and environmental courses separately, but offers unique courses that aim to teach with real world examples and experiences of the importance sustainability plays in businesses. As businesses begin to… Show more As of June 14, 2016 I have accepted my Bachelor's of Environmental Studies (Honours) with 2 years Co-operative Education experience.The program Environment and Business offered at the University of Waterloo is a world renowned as it not only educates it's students on business courses and environmental courses separately, but offers unique courses that aim to teach with real world examples and experiences of the importance sustainability plays in businesses. As businesses begin to embrace the shift from just the 'bottom line' towards the 'triple bottom line', the importance of learning the necessary skills to balance business with the environment plays a crucial role into the success of students who study this field. The skills acquired through the first 3 years of school became an asset when completing our fourth year Capstone Project. My team and I, Sustainable Entertainment, were fortunate enough to work with The Sustainable Concerts Working Group, Live Nation and their venue the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. After a dedicated 8 months of hard work, we were fortunate enough to be hand selected by The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario to present our findings to her at our ENBUS 402 Final Celebration. It was with great pleasure that the team selected myself and one other to deliver the presentation to The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell. Not only were we fortunate enough to present to the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, but were also privileged to present to executives of Live Nation, the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre, and Effect Partners. Since our final presentation, The Molson Canadian Amphitheatre has taken several of our suggestions and implemented them and have shown interest in one day working on implementing more. As it stands, we are carrying out work with Effect Partners whose client is Live Nation in order to help with the greening of their venues within the United States. Show less

Received a $3,000 grant from an Ontario Government funded program called Summer Company. • WylD Designs is a customizable shorts business that was run from home. Customers provided me with shorts which were then designed, created and delivered according to order requests.Currently WylD Designs is getting festive as I am looking to expand my business this holiday season with festive "Ugly Christmas Sweaters".

Acted as an Ambassador for the Coca-Cola’s new Freestyle beverage dispenser to promote and support crew and customers on location.
