Delegate of all NZ universities' International Student Services Managers on the Tier One Universities New Zealand sector-wide CUSPaC committee, together with the UNZ CEO, Directors of Student and Academic Services, NZQA and student leaders, tasked with monitoring the extent to which the pastoral care systems of NZ universities comply with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021. Governance work largely focused on development of Code guidelines and the Self-review evaluation schedule and process.

In a seconded role reporting to the Director, Strategy, Analytics and Reporting, work at an institutional level to lead the initial implementation of The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021 (the Code) across the University of Otago, monitor Code compliance, represent Otago at a national sector level and provide expert advice and direction across academic, professional, and operational teams. Undertake the University’s annual Code Self-Review in 2021.To deliver Otago’s 2021 Code Self-Review, independently planned and undertook a schedule to analyse and review the University’s support and pastoral care activity, delivered University-wide communication on the Code implementation, established a Code enquiries system, and delivered information across Otago's NZ-based campuses to key stakeholders and groups on the new Code. Successfully wrote and submitted the Code Self-Review to deadline in December 2021.
