With a Master's degree in International Relations, Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution from Université catholique de Louvain, I have over five years of experience in the field of gender and trade, working with UNCTAD and other international organizations. As an Associate Programme Management Officer at UNCTAD, I managed and coordinated the digital economy and e-commerce capacity building programme, supporting developing countries in leveraging the opportunities and addressing the challenges of the digital transformation. Prior to that, I was an International Consultant in Gender and Trade Affairs at UNCTAD, where I developed and delivered e-learning courses and workshops on gender-responsive trade policies and practices. I also have experience as a WTO advisor at the Permanent Mission of Maldives to the UN, where I advocated for Maldives's interests and positions in various trade negotiations and committees. I have strong skills in international relations, gender equality, and digital economy and e-commerce, and I am passionate about advancing the sustainable development goals and promoting inclusive and fair trade.
