- Responsible for 200 people, 10 direct reports, an annual budget of 30 Mio EU and 6 production plants of dispersions and resins located in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru.- Strong focus on EHS, implementing behavior based programs and investments , Operational Excellence with annual savings of 2% of net sales, capacity increase, rationalization of regional footprint and implementation of OAE (Overall Asset Effectiveness) in all 6 plants.- Responsible for Supply Chain in South America with focus on inventory reduction, dysfunctional stock, statistical forecast, regionalizing the responsibilities of planning and S&OP process.- Responsible for regional R&D Lab, focusing on portfolio and process optimization, research including new patents and development, supporting the business in South America.- Responsible for Technology, including CapEx (capital expenditures) management of around 7 Mio EU per year, implementation of safety concepts, assets strategy, technical support, cost benchmarks, process innovation and IP protection (tolling, technology transfer, patents and licenses)

- OpEx improvements and technical projects related to the production processes of acrylic dispersions, being member of the Global Technology Team for Dispersions and Additives in Germany.

- Coordination of investment projects (CapEx) for the eight paint plants in Europe.- Budgeting and controlling of improvement projects of the european paint plants.- Implementation of production excellence activities (value stream mapping) and debottlenecking projects.

- Improvement of safety performance based on behavior based programs.- Realization of risk assessments such as HAZOPs and EPDs.- Implementation of Production Excellence activities (5S, Muda Hunting, Problem Soving Tool, VSM).- Development of debottlenecking projects, increasing capacity by 20%.- Implementation of lean manufacturing projects.- Investments of around 5 Mio EU per year.- Migration of the DCS of the Resin Plant.- Implementation of OAE – 15% of capacity increase.
