Leading a project that follows an innovative approach to renewable processes based on techno-economical studies and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). Extensive use of Aspen Plus, SimaPro, and Excel as simulation tools. From 2016 to 2020 I conducted my Ph.D. research in the field of renewable energies studying the viability of bio-jet fuel production for the aerospace sector. As part of the project, I set up the scale lab process (Fischer-Tropsch) and successfully investigated new approaches for its optimization. As a lecturer, I also teach several subjects as Control & Instrumentation, AutoCAD and Oil&Gas refining to engineering students at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos I.

As a PhD candidate, I was part of an international research conducted at Utrech University in the Netherlands. The project objective was to convert synthesis gas to olefins and aromatics using bi-functional catalysis at industrial relevant conditions. A publication with the obtained results was published in 2020 in Catalysis Today.

I worked for ABENGOA as part of a R&D project team focused on optimizing and implementing the recovery plan of a furfural plant in Hugoton (Kansas, USA). As a process engineer, I was involved in the design and simulation phases, with stress on the optimization of the final process while meeting cost targets.

The work took place at Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri, an institution which is dedicated to occupational health. At Padova´s headquarters, scientists research different methods to analyse the air samples of working environments.
