I was responsible for the delivery of a £20M project portfolio with a team of 120 staff within one of the most digitally mature NHS organisations in the UK. The portfolio constituted circa 30 projects delivering a range of patient safety, efficiency and financial improvements. Within this role I was also accountable for the 3rd line support and product development of in excess of 100 software solutions of various sizes. These include safety critical products that are delivered to other NHS organisations. Programme director for the north east nightingale, a 460 bed hospital delivered in 4 weeks in response to COVID-19. I was responsible for managing overall progress, planning, risk management, reporting, national assurance coordination and project governance.

This role involved managing a range of bespoke development projects, across all areas of the Trust. This encompassed all stages of the SDLC along with the ongoing support and maintenance of a circa 100 applications.Further to this core task I was also responsible for the following:• Developing and maintaining a core framework to ensure maximum project delivery efficiency.• Leadership, development and performance of a team of developers and database administrators. • Integrating 3rd party solutions into the existing software architecture.• Designing complex enterprise applications and databases to solve business needs.

My role at SIS was to provide high quality web based solutions to clients, these ranged from brochure CMS websites to fully bespoke web based CRM and ERP applications. The role was very hands on with the majority of my time spent developing innovative solutions using C# .NET, together with supporting and enhancing many of our existing web and desktop systems written in various languages.
