Managing a team of Tech Leads on a day to day basis whilst keeping all the different brand teams in sync and guide them to take the right technical decisions.

As a front-end developer within the Betsson brand was to deliver best-in-class code across a broad array of interactive web and mobile projects. I was part of a team of seven front-end developers with a leading role. I also completed a certified Scrum Master course and took the role of a Scrum Master.

My responsibility was to develop and enhance Value Added Services within the company including the development of a new Web Portal. These services were written as portlets and deployed on Java Portalframework (Liferay), together with Spring MVC, Hibernate, ActiveMQ, Velocity, Log4j and jQuery.

I was part of a Business Intelligence team with a responsibility to design and enhance the existing financial data warehouse of the bank. During the short period, I designed and enhanced some ETL jobs and helped some departments with designing and enhancing reports.

The main responsibilities were to design, program, debug and implement computer programs as an end-user client-server application for National Statistics Office. After one year, I joined another team to develop an on-going system that communicates with custom offices around Europe to control the import of goods in Malta and EU.
