Constructed cost-performance models for chemical process technologies and power generation concepts. Assisted program development, merit evaluation, technology transition, and program oversight for Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). Provided technical support for clean-energy projects in the areas of power generation, carbon capture, wind energy, fuel and biofuel production, and metals manufacturing. Served as the point of contact with other government agencies, universities, and companies in order to assess technical progress, to coordinate special events, and to report information to stakeholders. Led areas of technical and strategic effort reviews, focusing on; wind power, appliances, cement manufacturing. Led a focused assessment of industrial energy consumption and waste heat across key sectors in the US and China. Served as an internal consultant on the wind power industry and the chemical industry. Evaluated technical proposals, and assisted director in new program pitches. Delivered presentations and attended meetings on behalf of program directors. Helped organize or facilitate sessions at the ARPA-E Natural Gas Vehicle Workshop, Sensors and Thermoelectrics Workshops, the ARPA-E Annual Summit, and Single Pane Window Efficiency Workshop.
