Maintained older web search data solutions as needed.Prior to Gartner acquisition:Part of newly formed engineering team at think tank specializing in business intelligence, measuring brand digital presence and quantifying "digital competence". - Developed a new research platform for L2's research staff in order to efficiently aggregate, store, retrieve, analyze and visualize data for studies. Led architectural and design work for said platform with special emphasis on Hypercube, the computational, datapoint storage and ontology backend. Led implementation of Hypercube (written in Clojure) and maintenance of spec. - Prototyped and implemented L2WR, a scheduled search data collection, storage and reporting service, in Python and Javascript to improve efficiency of research staff. Helped define appropriate measurements over search data. Wrote monitoring and notification service in Clojure for monitoring L2WR and other services and created dashboards for keep abreast of data quality, availability and schedule loads. Maintained documentation around these products and services. Technologies employed include Redshift, Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ and Celery as well as third-party services such as Periscope.

Simulation involved modeling of interactions of variable number and type of particles in 3-dimensions as probability distributions and according to rules expressed as transformations of these probability distributions. Metrics such as the Renyi entropy of the system were generated and collected alongside data files which were used to generate 3-dimensional, animated visualizations (available online). Coauthored scientific paper which depended heavily on simulation results.
