Daniel is a highly respected Mental Health First Aid facilitator and an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) trainer. Daniel’s journey started as a PE teacher, but his drive to make meaningful change, led him to the healthcare world. As a Health & Wellbeing Coordinator at a top Melbourne Hospital, he pioneered wellbeing programs and crafted mental health strategies to support a workforce of over 6000 staff. Seeking sunnier skies, he made his way to SQLD, where he took the reins of mental health training and promotion for an Australian Government Agency across the entire South Queensland region.  Daniel's own personal journey with mental health challenges has ignited his passion for empowering organisations, sporting clubs and communities to engage in meaningful mental health conversations.  He walks alongside workplaces and groups, striving to improve mental health through education and support. Daniel’s approachable, down to earth, and has a knack for making mental health conversations engaging and relatable.
