I was born and raised In Tulsa, Oklahoma. I attended college and graduate school at Clarke College in Dubuque, IA where I earned a doctorate in physical therapy. In addition, I competed in intercollegiate baseball and tennis. I have since become a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) and received advanced aquatic therapy training. I enjoy working with all types of orthopedic patients, especially runners and triathletes. I am member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association, and an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor.In addition, I am certified in Graston Technique, Level 1 Functional Movement Screen and Level 1 Functional Dry Needling. Currently, I serve as the Chief Compliance Officer for Makovicka Physical Therapy, as well as Clinic Director for the Pacific Springs Clinic (178th and Pacific, Omaha, NE).
