Our partners are developing cancer drugs, building machine learning models for biology, and addressing climate change.I work on creating flexible and robust robot actions, vision language models for increased reliability, path planning, simulation, managing deployments, AI for quickly programming robots using natural language, and generally enabling our products to be more useful for scientists and automation engineers.

Designing new technology Amazon's innovation incubator. Designing and prototyping systems, CAD, electrical prototypes, firmware, and analyzing systems in Python and Matlab.

I led the mechatronics and controls team at New Horizons Studio, designing the controls algorithms and electrical systems for vehicles that can walk.

Designed electro-mechanical systems architecture, wrote control software in ROS, and managed projects with technology partners to create Ultimate Mobility Vehicles. As the first engineer on the team, I also defined technical requirements, engineering strategy, and vehicle architectures.

Designed products for startups with a focus on electromechanical design, rapid prototyping, and proof of concept modeling. Worked in the aerospace and medical device industry with 3 different startups in this time. Also worked with Mark Rober on the Domino Robot video

Taught students how to thoughtfully design systems using back-of-the-envelope analysis, simulation, and rapid prototyping. Content included mass efficient design, finite element analysis, motors, gears, estimating energy losses in a system, and building a robot in a team competition.
